I think the two categories can peacefully coexist... it's accepting the fact that someone (like Greg, or Allison, or me) loves you in spite of and because of  all those complicated things, past and present, that make you up that's the really hard part. I have trouble with it too (especially after seeing action photos of myself in gym pants from last thursday's 5k. YIKES.).</description>
